Ingredients
20 g Dendritic Salt
172 g Epsom Salt
1 g Dried Blue Cornflower
2 g Dried Calendula
2 g Dried Rose Petals
2 g Fragrance Oil
1 g Polysorbate 80
Directions
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the dendritic salt, fragrance oil, and polysorbate 80. Mix well and allow the mixture to sit for at least 5 minutes. For best results, let the mixture dry uncovered overnight to reduce clumping.
Add the Epsom salt to the bowl and mix until evenly combined.
Add the blue cornflower, calendula, and rose petals. Gently fold the mixture until evenly distributed.
Transfer the bath salts to an airtight tube or container. Store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
Dendritic salt helps absorb fragrance and reduce clumping. If substituting, expect a slightly different texture.
Polysorbate 80 helps disperse fragrance and makes tub cleanup easier.
Avoid over-mixing to prevent crushing delicate botanicals.
For easier cleanup, place the bath salts in a reusable mesh or muslin bag before adding to the bath. This helps prevent dried botanicals from clogging the drain while still allowing the salts and fragrance to disperse.
