Ingredients
20 g Dendritic Salt
172 g Fine Sea Salt
6 g Colloidal Oatmeal
1 g Lavender Essential Oil
1 g Polysorbate 80
Dried Lavender Buds (as needed for layering)
Directions
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the dendritic salt, lavender essential oil, and polysorbate 80. Mix thoroughly and allow the mixture to sit for at least 5 minutes. For best results, leave the mixture uncovered overnight to help reduce clumping.
Add the fine sea salt and colloidal oatmeal to the bowl and mix until fully combined.
To assemble, add a layer of bath salt to your tube, sprinkle in a small amount of dried lavender buds, then repeat until the container is full.
Seal tightly and store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
Dendritic salt helps absorb fragrance and reduce clumping. If substituting, expect a slightly different texture.
Polysorbate 80 helps disperse fragrance and makes tub cleanup easier.
For easier cleanup, place the bath salts in a reusable mesh or muslin bag before adding to the bath. This helps prevent dried botanicals from clogging the drain while still allowing the salts and fragrance to disperse.
