Why I Created Batch & Build
Hi, I'm Charmeas.
I’ve been experimenting and making products for a long time, but when I launched my bath and body business in 2019, I realized pretty quickly that the information I needed wasn’t easy to find. Not all in one place anyway.
I was figuring things out on my own, solving problems nobody seemed to be talking about, and wishing I had someone in my corner who actually knew this space. A mentor would have been everything. But let’s be real… that wasn’t in the budget.
So I did what made sense. I started sharing what I learned.
I launched my YouTube channel in 2020 to teach the formulas I knew, document my journey, and share the tips I had to figure out the hard way. Because if I struggled to find it, I knew somebody else was struggling too.
But even then, I wanted more than a YouTube channel. More than a Facebook group.
I wanted something real. Somewhere intentional.
A place where makers could come to learn, experiment, share their work, and actually connect with people who understand this wonderful obsession we have with making things.
This is for makers who love the craft and want to keep getting better at it, and also for those building something bigger. I wanted a space that could support all of it. A library of recipes, formulations, ingredient deep dives, and real guidance.
