Ingredients
99 g Coarse Sea Salt
98 g Coarse Black Salt
2 g Fragrance Oil
1 g Polysorbate 80
Dried Rose Petals (as needed for layering)
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the fragrance oil and polysorbate 80. Mix until uniform.
Place the coarse sea salt in one bowl and the coarse black salt in another. Divide the fragrance mixture evenly between the two salts and mix each separately until evenly scented. Allow both salts to sit uncovered for several hours or overnight to reduce surface moisture.
To assemble, alternate layers of black salt, sea salt, and dried rose petals in the tube until full.
Seal and store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
Polysorbate 80 helps disperse fragrance and makes tub cleanup easier.
Scenting the salts separately helps maintain clean, defined layers.
For easier cleanup, place the bath salts in a reusable mesh or muslin bag before adding to the bath. This helps prevent dried botanicals from clogging the drain while still allowing the salts and fragrance to disperse.
