Ingredients
20g | 10% Dendritic salt
143g | 71.5% Fine Sea Salt
30g | 15% Coconut Milk Powder
2g | 1% Fragrance Oil
1g | 0.5% Polysorbate 80
4g | 2% Dried Rose Petals
Directions
In a medium sized bowl, combine dendritic salt, fragrance oil, and polysorbate 80. Let this mixture sit for at least 5 minutes. For best results, allow the mixture to dry uncovered overnight to help reduce clumping in the final product.
Add the sea salt and coconut milk powder to the bowl and mix until evenly combined.
Transfer the bath salts to an airtight container using one of the following methods:
Layer the bath salt with dried rose petals throughout the jar for a decorative look.
Gently mix the dried rose petals into the bath salt mixture before filling the container for even distribution.
Add dried rose petals to the jar first, then pour the bath salt on top so the petals remain visible.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Notes
Dendritic salt helps absorb fragrance and reduce clumping. If substituting, expect a slightly different texture.
Polysorbate 80 helps disperse fragrance and makes tub cleanup easier.
I used heart containers to store my bath salt in.
